Texas Farm Bureau AGFUND endorses Brooks Landgraf
1/20/2014

(WACO, Texas)--The Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) Friends of Agriculture Fund (AGFUND), Inc. board of directors announced its endorsement of Republican Brooks Landgraf for State Representative in Texas House District 81.

"The people of District 81 deserve a strong conservative candidate who will represent their interests well in the Texas House of Representatives, and we believe Brooks Landgraf is that man," TFB and AGFUND President Kenneth Dierschke said. "Landgraf's ranching background, combined with his experience as a business lawyer in both the oil and gas and healthcare industries, ensure he'll be a strong voice for West Texas."

In addition to helping manage his family's cow-calf operation and mineral interests, Landgraf is a lawyer and civic leader.

The fifth generation rancher also serves on the Midland-Odessa Transportation Alliance board of directors, the Education Foundation board of directors and the John Ben Sheppard Leadership Institute advisory council. He volunteers his time to a number of local nonprofit organizations.

"Landgraf knows first-hand the effects that overregulation can have on Texas families," Dierschke said. "We believe his time spent serving as an aide to U.S. Rep. Joe Barton and his experience speaking on behalf of his fellow West Texans in Austin make him the best man for the job."
